About Us

CRD No Limits Foundation began with a simple, stubborn belief: every family deserves a fair shot at a stable life. We didn’t start out thinking about housing policy or grant applications. We started by sitting on mud floors in rural Maharashtra, listening to mothers who wanted their children to learn, to fathers desperate for steady work, to grandparents who just wanted a roof that didn’t leak through the monsoon. Over time, one truth became impossible to ignore — no classroom lesson, no health camp, no livelihood program could stick if a family had no safe place to sleep at night.

That realization didn’t arrive all at once. It built slowly, case by case. A bright student who dropped out because her family was evicted mid-term. A tuberculosis patient who couldn’t complete treatment because his shelter was damp and overcrowded. A daily-wage worker who spent more hours searching for a place to live than searching for work. Housing wasn’t just another issue — it was the issue that quietly undid everything else.

So we shifted our energy. Quietly, deliberately, and with a lot of studying.

What we do now

Today, the foundation focuses entirely on bridging the gap between Indian families and the affordable housing that exists but often feels out of reach. We gather, verify, and share clear, actionable information about:

  • Nonprofit housing assistance programs that many people never hear about
  • Government grants and subsidies for first-time home buyers
  • Application processes and eligibility criteria, broken down into plain language
  • Community-driven housing solutions that have worked in real neighborhoods

We are not a bank. We are not a real estate agent. We are a small, focused team that believes the difference between a family stuck in uncertainty and a family opening their own front door often comes down to knowing what help exists and how to ask for it.

Why this matters deeply to us

Our work is led by Anjali Mehta, who has been with the foundation since its earliest days — first coordinating education and health outreach in villages, then managing transitional shelters as the housing crisis became impossible to look away from, and now building this resource hub from years of field notes, subsidy manuals, and countless conversations with families who just needed someone to walk them through the process.

Anjali often says that a safe home isn’t the end goal — it’s the starting line. When a family isn’t afraid of displacement, children can focus on school, parents can commit to jobs, and entire communities begin to stabilize. That’s the chain reaction we’ve witnessed again and again, and it’s what keeps us at our desks, digging through policy documents and updating guides.

Where the name comes from

“No Limits” has been with us since the beginning, long before housing became our central mission. It reflects a conviction we still hold: that constraints — financial, systemic, informational — can be dismantled piece by piece when people have the right support. Our work isn’t about grand promises. It’s about removing the limits that keep capable, hardworking families from securing the foundation they need most.

What you’ll find here

Every page on this site is built for clarity. You won’t find jargon or manipulative fundraising tactics. You’ll find straightforward explanations of programs like PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana), state-specific subsidies, nonprofit-run housing schemes, and practical guidance on documentation, income certificates, and application timelines. If something changes in the policy landscape, we update our resources promptly — because outdated information is not harmless, it’s a missed opportunity.

We are constantly learning, and we don’t pretend to have every answer. But we are committed to sharing what we know with honesty and respect for the families who trust us with their time and hope.

If you’re here because you’re trying to figure out how to afford a home — or you’re helping someone who is — we’re glad you found us. Take your time. Look around. And if something isn’t clear, reach out. We built this resource to be used, not just admired.
